ABOUT US

Our Commitment

Eat.Play.Stay. Pet Care does more than just open our calendar; we open our hearts as well. With each visit, you get more than a daily check up on your loved one. Eat.Play.Stay. Pet Care simultaneously provides physical and mental stimulation for your furry pet child(ren) during each visit to your home. In addition to that your family will receive personalized updates with an image of how they spent their time with us.

We don't stop at the expectations of us providing great pet care. Eat.Play.Stay. Pet Care takes it even further. You will find that your mail and/or paper have been brought in, trash and recycle cans put out or brought in for you, tiding up of the common play area plus a light on if we know you're going to be home late. Together with all of that we are not only Bonded and Licensed but further more we accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

Our Promise

With over a decade of experience in animal care we offer to you that same quality of care and ease you search for yourself when booking a vacation but in the comfort of your own home for your furry, feathered, and even scaled family member. Offering out of town care or just weekly walks/visits to your home.

To us, each family is seen not as a client, but rather what they are in our hearts; extended family. Therefore, they are treated with respect and personal care. With open communication and room in our hearts we strive to offer what others can't, the comfort of you and them feeling like you’re at home when you can't be. I have made what my staff and I do more than a career, it’s become our way of life. Each day, I am excited to be a part of my families lives, as well as being able to touch the lives of their four, two, and sometimes three-legged animal companions. But please, don't take our word for it. Visit our website or Yelp page to read the words and appreciated thanks from our families.

I am always looking for a new adventure and ways to stay active. Being active outdoors is my own form of therapy so to say. Since I was young, camping, attending sports games such as the Oakland Athletics, doing community outreach, travel, running, and tending to the lives of others has always been my desire and happy place. Due to Noelle’s special needs and her anxious temperament, she would never do well in a kennel environment or being away from her familiar surroundings. Many times I would find myself turning down invitations for myself or both my husband and I to go out of town, for short or long vacations, because of having no one to care for our beloved “Bandit” & “Noelle”. Having worked for years in Veterinary hospitals I was not confident in using kennels. Each of our pups have special medical accommodations which left us uneasy leaving them at a relative’s home. We wanted them to be comfortable in their own surroundings, while we were away, because there is no place like home. This dilemma and all the scary stories I heard about pet sitters while at work gave me the incentive to start my own pet care business. When I considered starting this business, I realized that it was a perfect fit for me, living each day doing what I love to do and sharing my knowledge with people is a way of life for me. I am very trust worthy, dependable, and will care for your pets as if they were my own.

Seasonal Assistant

Seasonal Assistant – Pet Care

Hi, I’m Nicole and I am a team member of Eat.Play.Stay. Pet Care which holds an assortment of titles. I am not only the sister of the company’s owner, seasonal assistant dog walker/pet care provider, but also a dog owner as well. I have 3 miniature dachshunds, “Lucy”, “Bella” and “Molly”. They are my pride and joy. When I am not studying or assisting the families of Eat.Play.Stay. Pet Care and my sister Kate, then I am out with my little ones or indoors finding new ways to spoil them.

When Kate first told me she was launching her own pet care company; extending her skills and knowledge of the veterinary field to the community with the added bonus of getting to do what she really has a passion for, I knew this was something I would want to be apart of. Once I got started in my role as an Assistant Pet Care Provider/Dog Walker it became apparent to me that it was something I wanted to go to school for myself. For the past 3 years I have made myself available to help in the summers and the weekends too. Helping care for the families of Eat.Play.Stay. Pet Care has also driven me to offer additional help to many friends and neighbors. My immeasurable love and passion for animals fills my heart so much that I can’t help but want to assist in the care of those who need someone to be there for their furry child when they can not.

Needless to say, I have a passion for all animals with a great deal of hands on experience with dogs, cats, horses, some birds and even a few small mammals. I am lucky to have such a great opportunity to help Kate keep Eat.Play.Stay. Pet Care a family ran business while benefiting from the direct interaction with various animals like pot belly pigs or other less common pets. Being apart of this company today really has helped give me direction and motivation to only do what I love most, working with animals!

Unlike most dogs that love to just play “Bandit” is more like a sprinter; he takes off and for a short period of time will play hard then in an instant it all stops. “Bandit’s” favorite thing to do is to lay out in the sun no matter where he can get it. In fact whenever the family goes to the beach “Bandit” loves to use one leg to make himself a pit to lay in and soak up all the sun, never mind the water because he is not a fan!

Since he was a little pup Katie worked hard to train him and get his manners and skills to where he is today. “Bandit” knows all the basic commands including a few other fun ones. His favorite one is to “sit pretty”. He knows that everyone just goes crazy over him doing that. “Bandit” just loves making new friends of all species. For years his best friend was a guinea pig named “Two shorts” where you could always find the two of them laying side by side. He has always been gentle and loving by nature.

Over the years “Bandit” sadly has developed multiple medical conditions but together with Katie’s extensive knowledge of animal care from the Veterinary Hospitals and James’ compassion “Bandit’s” special needs have been very manageable. Although his health is not what it used to be, he still has lots of life and love to give.
